Lafa Taylor just released a 5 track free EP entitled “Mixed Emotions“. The sounds within are thoughtful and gorgeous. Another treasure chest of his music is available here.
Lafa is the originator of the funny and insightful “Rollin Dough” music video and myriad other juicy/activated songs you may have heard over the years. Check out this great new track he just put on Soundcloud called “Hide and Seek“. I highly suggest following his Cloud account, by the way- his sounds are sophistique.

Itom Lab just released his new album: Neyen. Featuring galactivated music by Itom, cover art by Geo Glyphiks, CD art by Adam Scott Miller, inside panel by Chris Varthalamis, and meditative back cover art by Jesse Noe. Itom Lab himself created the art on the CD tray. We’re listening to the album as I write this. Check Itom’s organic melodies, whompy baselines, conscious hip-hop and Magi-lyrical vocal samples.
Flavor: Shamanic Yogi-Jedi Whomp-Step.
Album available on Bandcamp.
Fun fact: this album’s info can also be found on Tool’s homepage! That was exciting to discover.
Geo and I spent last Saturday evening sharing art, dancing, and listening to music at Om Culture during the Guru Ganesha concert. Guru Ganesha himself is a very funny person- his casual style on stage is disarming and heart warming at the same time. I especially liked the calm, peaceful demeanor and singing of Sat Kartar Singh and Michelle Hurtado. Daniel Paul played drums beautifully and Hans Christian‘s mastery of exotic instruments was a treat. Gurusangat Singh joined them perfectly on bass guitar. Their tour continues- visit their website Tour section in case there is a show coming your way.
Geo’s Solar Citadel piece was shown at the concert and prompted discussion amongst attendees about creating utopian culture. It was great to hear people talking about making good solar architecture and creating a high tech yet sustainable future.
If you haven’t been to Om Culture yet and you live in the Seattle area, its worth a trip. They offer a multitude of classes and also host a few key ongoing Seattle events like Dream Dance. Thank you to Michael Suzerris for creating Om Culture and inviting us out to enjoy.
Geo, Tifa and I spent the daytime during Easter at the Fremont Street Market in Seattle. It was a beautifully sunny day- the warmest day in recent memory in our usually fairly cloudy city. This was the first time Geoglyphiks has done an outdoor event this Spring season. It was gratifying and fun to interact with the very cool and colorful variety of passerby.
Tifa brought out the wonderful rings and crystal/mineral selections of Artificer Workshop and manned the booth with us all day long. We shared delicious local Jasmine Tea Ginger Ale by Bruce Cost. Geo and I adorned the walls and tables of our booth with his paintings, holograms co-created with Raja, and smaller prints.
Jon & Antonio were hosting the booth next door to ours. Antonio is a wonderful painter and Jon came bearing extraordinary macramè jewelry collections that he is stewarding with a woman he works with in Peru. The table was covered in Palo Santo, which was also fun.
Spring is the time to dust ourselves off, wake up in the sun, and get ready for this summer’s festival and event season. We’re looking forward to participating at Entheos, Inshala, Photosynthesis, Beloved, and several other events. Thank you to all our friends (new and long standing) for coming out and visiting us at the market. Happy spring to everyone!
